1 What is your RETURN Policy ? Yes we accept returns !
1./ Change of mind :  90 Days refund less 10% and postage costs.
      goods require inspection for re-sale.
2./ Fulty Goods : We supply a replacement free of any charge to you.
we require proof of fault / purchase and contact tech support.
2 What is your WARANTY Policy ? Most products 2 years. Except for competition use in suspensions parts.
3 My Blue light (high Beam Light) does not glow or is very dull. Negative switching issues ! USE the GTW Harness or install load
COMMON to LOW and COMMON to HIGH beam.
4 What Load resistor do I use  for 12 Volts ?  from 6 to 30 ohms with a power rating = 300 / Ohms
5 What Load resistor do I use  for 24 Volts ?  from 12 to 100 ohms with a power rating = 1200 / Ohms
6 When do I get the goods - Installment plans As soon as you make the first payment and have met our criteria.
7 What are your criteria ? - Installment plans Email front and back of Drivers Lic to sales@ultraflex4x4.com
1./ It MUST show the same delivery address and paypal address
2./ The parcel will be sent with signature required.
3./ You MUST provide a mobile number that we can verify.
8 How are payments worked out ? - Installment plans Payment one = (total/3+freight) two & three=(total/3)
i.e goods=300 post = 25 Payment 1=125 2=100 3=100 (125+100+100=325)
9 What if I miss a payment ? - Installment plans We will email you, call you, then send to Sherrif  after 30 days.
10 What is Negative switching ? Constant volts to light COMMON and the EARTH is Switched  to Hi/Lo.
Batt+ -> Light -> switch -> Batt-
The high beam light is connected across the low beam switch
Accessories connected to a "Floating" ground and they all have a coil
connected to +BATT so the volts will not drop unless there is a load.
If the volts do not drop then relays (coils)  will not turn off.
due to the lack of difference between battery and floating earth
the low beam light will not work. Add a load to stop the FLOATING !!!
11 What is Positive switching ? Constant Earth to light COMMON and the POWER is Switched  to Hi/Lo.
Batt+ -> swtich->Light ->  Batt-
12 Does Positive switching have issues with High Beam Dash Light or accessories ?   No it has no issues . Plug and play. No floating voltages.
LED lights plug stright in. Nothing required.
13 Is my car  Negative switching ? Most cars after 1985 changed to Negative switching . Why - Cheaper.
The following are Negatively Switched
Toyota All (except some holden variants)
Holden Rodeo (re-badged and co-built like rebranded toyotas)
Mazda Imports
Subaru ALL
Daihatsu ALL
Suzuki All
14 Do I NEED a GTW HARNESS  for Negative switching ? NO. If you have a virgin stock car . You can use the off road harness
You do not need the off road GTW harness
If you have Light bars and Spot lights .. Or some funky wiring. YES
If you do not like to spend 2 hours on dianosing issues .. YES
15 Which cars are Positive switching ? Not many these modern times. But generally -
Landrover
Holden but not re-badge or co-built
Ford
Nissan
Kenworth
Jeep
16 What is the difference beween GTW and Offroad HARNESS  ? The GTW has inductive oversized load resistors for  12 and 24V
They draw around   5 Watts in 12 V Systems
They draw around  10 Watts in 24 V Systems
17 My car is Negative switched do I need GTW HARNESS  for 100W+ Halogen ? Same rules as 14 apply. If you have fruit you need more fruit !
The GTW harness is ALWAYS recommened for Negative switched.
18 My car is Positively switched do I need GTW HARNESS  for 100W+ Halogen ? Same rules as 11 apply. If you want fruit, add more fruit !
The GTW harness is ALWAYS recommened for Negative switched.
HOWEVER it can be used on both equaly well.
19 My LED lights are making radio noise RFI  (negative switched) !!!!!  Dirt ! And Corrosion ! USE the GTW Harness to prevent these issues.
Very rare to come across this issue. And has Never been the Lights.
1./ Check all earths and Power on battery, guards, harnesses
Clean the conections and apply grease to keep out corrosion
Corrosion WILL act like a crystal oscillator
2./ Check by removing one Ultraflex4x4 LED light and pluging in
a normal halogen globe into that socket ..in the NEW harness.
If the noise STOPS then the relays in the harness are dirty.
3./ Put a halogen globe into the unused OEM harness and test.
If the problem goes away the the EO head light relay needs
replacing. It has corrosion, carbon, or pitting and is acting like
a oscilator under low current draw.
4./ Make a good ground from Antenna base to Guard and
guard to chassis . Make it about 6 mm thick . Take off paint and
grease the connections to stop corrosion.
5./ Put a LOAD resistor see (3 & 4) in the OEM Harness
from COMMON to PASS and COMMON to DRIVE
or COMMON to LOW and COMMON to HIGH beam.
6./ A faulty Alternator can force the buck boost converters to rapidly
Switch modes. This would be a Diode or Regulator OR the Battery
is almost dead and is not damping other Noise due to lower loads.
